Ubisoft announced that the online mode of "watchdog: Legion" will be officially launched on March 9, with new tasks and modes added. All players can update it for free. The online mode of "watchdog: Legion" is currently expected to include cooperative tasks that can support up to four people to play and PvP competitions that can support up to eight people to play. More online mode content will be announced with subsequent updates. Online mode is independent of single player campaign, and players can still recruit NPCs they encounter in the game. The online model of this work was originally scheduled to be launched on December 3, 2020. However, in consideration of the various problems in the distribution and after-sales of this work, Ubisoft made a major update to this work in November last year and announced the extension of the online model.
