足球运动类游戏《FIFA 22》将于 2021 年 10 月 1 日正式发售。来自 EA 温哥华工作室的首席游戏制作人 Sam Rivera 接受了外媒采访,并畅谈本作部分版本采用的新技术。Rivera 表示,开发团队在三年前开始研究《FIFA 22》的算法机制。在算法的支持下,机器能够从动捕素材中学习球员拿球,运球和射门的动作,并在此基础上输出实时动画。为了让游戏中的球员动作更加流畅,开发团队还采用了名为「HyperMotion」的全新技术。Rivera 提到,在过去制作组常常将短动画设为优先项,这样能够保证游戏的快速响应。此外加入长动画还存在一个问题:当球场状况发生实时变化时,长动画难以进行相应调整。不过在采用「HyperMotion」技术后,开发团队就能够加入更长篇幅的动画,因为系统会在情况有变时即时调节
