8月3日在上海举行的2019全球电竞大会上，网易游戏总裁丁迎峰宣布了一则重磅消息：网易计划投资超过50亿，在上海青浦建设网易电竞生态园区。据了解，网易电竞生态园区将覆盖产品研发、竞技场馆、战队发展、人才建设、用户体验、电竞配套空间等多元化功能，规划中涵盖了全国第一座大型电竞专业比赛场馆。目前第一期项目已经正式投入规划建设当中。建成后，这也将成为一个集内容、场景、孵化为一体的电竞生态资源聚合产业基地
