CD Porjekt Red has previously said that Cyberpunk 2077 will be a single-player game when it goes on sale in 2020. But they have formed a development team to design multi-person content. During Gamescom, Marthe Jonker, a senior conceptual artist at CDPR, told Eurogamer's editors that Cyberpunk 2077's multiplayer model was still not nailed down. Small teams involved in multi-person model development are still in the early stages of development.
