Earlier on April 3, Beijing time, Intel appointed George Davis as CFO, who had previously served as CFO at Qualcomm for six years. Before January 31, Intel CEO Robert Swan had served as interim CEO and CFO for seven months at the same time. Since then, he has been officially appointed CEO by Intel. Intel then announced that it would look for a full-time CFO. Davis, 61, will report to Swan and be responsible for Intel's global financial organization and information technology.
