As the smartphone market tends to saturate, Samsung has streamlined its product line. The strongest quarterly results show that the strategy has yielded fruit for more than two years. Just when smart phones start to look like rigid, cheap commercialized devices, and technology industry seeks new growth stars, Samsung Electronics predicts the best quarterly performance in more than two years, and resists the overall sales slowdown. The Korea Companies estimates that its operating profit at the end of June for the quarter of $7 billion, the highest since the first quarter of 2014.
